one thousand, four hundred and sixty-one days

...and counting.  They have undeniably been the best days and years of my life.

 

It amazes me how fast the time has gone.  We have so much fun together and have recently gotten several comments from people about how "cool" it is that we like so many of the same things, or that we seem to always be going on adventures together.  It's true.  We are adventure buddies and we are lucky to share (and learn to love) lots of our passions.  We are Team Clint and Sam, and I can't imagine a better team to play, fight, and be on as we journey through this life.

 

Some of our more noteworthy traditions and adventures these past 4 years are:

 

• Green River Lakes camping trip in 2006
• Clint proposes to Sam atop the popular Bells Canyon hike, 2007
• Honeymoon in Puerto Vallarta in 2007
• Sam teaches Clint to play tennis and we begin a lifelong shared hobby
• Living in Shelly's condo in Draper beginning 2007
• We begin the annual tradition of buying U of U football Season tickets
• Spring volleyball tournament in Moab - Clint plays on a team with friends - 2008
• Bear Lake 10K race in 2008
• Beginning of our annual summer tradition of hiking at least once a week
• Sam's Gradution from BYU, 2008
• We begin the tradition of obtaining Pioneer Theater Season Tickets (through Sam's company discount)
• Disneyland in 2009
• Bear Lake Half Marathon in 2009
• Clint's graduation from the U of U, 2009
• Road trip to Zion National Park, 2009
• Buying and moving into our new house in South Jordan, winter of 2009
• Ogden Half Marathon in 2010
• Road trip to Bryce Canyon and the Grand Canyon, 2010
• Boston and New York Trip in 2010
• Cruise to Cabo and Puerto Vallarta in 2011
• U2 concert in 2011
• Trip to Sun Tunnels and getting quoted in SL Trib, 2011
• Running the Ragnar Wasatch Back of 2011
• Surviving and enjoying the Zion Narrows, 2011 (more detailed posting with pix to come!)
