you've been together how long?

adventurous, cold, & wet

...sums up our Yellowstone trip pretty well.
Don't get me wrong - we LOVED it.
Here's a picture of a frequent past-time: the crew while driving to the next Yellowstone site.

First day, Thurday: rafting down the Snake River. (Sorry, no cameras allowed on the raft.)
Dinner at Mountain High Pizza Pie. Delish! Notice in picture: Kenny has already swallowed half his pizza while the rest of us are still in the dishing-up process.
That Thursday evening - a visit to Jenny Lake. With an unexpected visit from the monsoon gods.
Friday morning - hike to West Thumb outlook point. Everyone in one picture! Mom, Dad, Clint, me, Jenni, Kenny, Liz.
Old Faithful.
The hot springs and geysers around Old Faithful. (Clint calculated that we walked about 3 miles total along the boardwalk system here.)
Lunch at a random but beautiful outlook. We saw it first!
Evening hike to Faery Falls.
Camp.
Saturday, we adventured into upper Yellowstone, aka Buffalo Territory. Biggest, ugliest beasts you've ever seen.
The famous Lower Falls surrounded by yellow stone. Hmm...
This is the exact spot where supposedly some man earlier this year committed suicide by jumping off the top.
Bed-time meant get super-bundled:
Dr Fire.
Mammoth Hot Springs. Almost didn't stop here but glad we did. Really cool.
The Mammoth Restrooms. It's true. The sign out front says "Mammoth Restrooms." As you can tell by my sister Liz's expression, this place was as much of a wonder as any other sight.
Artist Paint Pots.
I have resigned myself to just hiding my hair under things at this point.
The End!

Millcreek campfire.

Is it just me or are we all blinking in this picture? Maybe Clint's not, actually.

Def need to do this again.
